United Nations Development Program
The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945. It is currently made up of 193 Member States. The mission and work of the United Nations are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter. The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) advocates for change and connects countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. It provides expert advice, training, and grant support to developing countries, with increasing emphasis on assistance to the least developed countries.
Generating significant amounts of content, the UNDP was seeking a solution to improve content management. conceptClassifier was selected due to its automatic semantic metadata generation, auto-classification, and taxonomy management technologies. The solution, as compared to other taxonomy solutions, is easily installed, rapidly deployed, and can be managed by Subject Matter Experts or IT with minimal training.
