Martin Garland, one of the three founders, has over 24 years’ experience in search, classification and Enterprise Content Management within the broader information management industry. His keen understanding of the information management landscape and his business acumen provide a solid foundation for guiding organizations to achieve their business objectives using best practices, industry experience, and technology. Martin’s expertise has been instrumental in setting the strategic direction for the company and assisting multi-national clients in diverse industries to understand the value of managing unstructured content to improve business processes. Martin Serves as President at Concept Searching, overseeing sales, marketing, and strategic alliances.
Michael PayeChief Technology Officer
Michael Paye has been the driving force behind many of the company’s recent innovations, including the SharePoint Add-In and hybrid search products. He has a wealth of experience across the Microsoft platform and related technologies and oversees all product development. Mike serves as Chief Technology Officer at Concept Searching.
Steve MannVice President of Sales
Steve Mann has proven expertise in consulting, solutions delivery, sales, and project management in business-to-business environments. He is experienced in Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, and in providing guidance on best practices, technical advice, and solutions to address a wide range of business challenges, leveraging a combination of Microsoft and third party technology. Steve serves as Vice President of Sales at Concept Searching.
Nicola BarnesDirector of Marketing
Nicola Barnes has over 25 years’ experience in the software industry, with successful coordination of global marketing and partner programs for market leaders in software, electronic commerce, and computer-aided design solutions. Nicola specializes in integrated campaign planning, external and internal marketing communications, lead generation, sales readiness resources, early adopter partner training, market development, market information, public relations, analyst briefings, channel marketing, and partner development. Nicola serves as Director of Marketing at Concept Searching.
Graham SimmsDirector of Delivery and Consulting Services
Graham Simms has over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, and received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Victoria University of Manchester, where he studied under Professor Steven Furber, developer of the ARM processor. He is an expert in information retrieval and automated document classification solutions, and has developed taxonomies and classification systems for several companies, including AT&T, BP, DAI, and the US Air Force. Graham serves as Director of Delivery and Consulting Services at Concept Searching.
David McBarronPrincipal Consultant
David McBarron is experienced in designing and implementing strategic IT systems, and producing cost-effective, convergent hardware and software infrastructures. He has developed business continuity and disaster recovery strategic plans for operations in 26 countries, and built custom data solutions for Fortune 500 companies. He delivers remote and on-site installation services, project and customer engagement management, SharePoint Search optimization, taxonomy development and architecture, and workflow design. David serves as Principal Consultant at Concept Searching.
Robert PiddockeVice President of Channel and Business Development
Robert Piddocke has over fifteen years of business development experience, and has successfully delivered top-performing sales results for a variety of companies in the software industry. With extensive Microsoft product knowledge and information management understanding, he has implemented hundreds of site and enterprise search solutions, and has authored two books on SharePoint Search. Robert serves as Vice President of Channel and Business Development at Concept Searching.
