Concept Searching is pleased to return as Platinum Sponsor of SharePoint Fest in Washington DC, taking place April 8th-10th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Demonstrations on Booth B2 will explain why Concept Searching technology platforms have become the industry choice for managing unstructured and semi-structured content.
Attendees are invited to attend the Concept Searching session, ‘Overcoming Capability Gaps in Information Transparency, Knowledge Management, and Records Management’ on April 10th. Presented by David McBarron, a Principal Consultant for Concept Searching, with over 25 years of IT experience, and responsible for pioneering work in cloud computing, big data, and SharePoint and Office 365 adoption. McBarron served as a database administrator on the Human Genome project and developed several key data acquisition systems for the NASA ground network. He provides consulting, expertise, and technical experience on large SharePoint and Office 365 deployments, with an emphasis on metadata generation and taxonomic classifications.
Underlying the Smart Content Framework™, Concept Searching technology platforms enable content to be transparently identified and tagged with semantic metadata, and classified to organizational taxonomies or to SharePoint term sets. This enables not only the effective management of content but also the use of metadata to drive enforcement in many information governance issues.
In addition to demonstrating how its solutions solve content challenges in SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business, Concept Searching will illustrate the integration capabilities in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Concept Searching will also discuss real-life scenarios on best practices and outcomes that can be achieved with the technologies, at Booth B2.
SharePoint Fest DC offers technical classes and workshops, taught by Microsoft Certified Trainers, Engineers, and MVPs, on topics such as Enterprise Content Management, Social SharePoint, Business Value, Office 365, Workflow, Business Intelligence, and SharePoint Development.
