An exploration of the benefits of SharePoint Add-ins when successfully managing unstructured content will be hosted by Concept Searching, in the Solution Showcase ‘Coexist or Integrate? How Add-ins Deliver an Integrated Environment to Manage Unstructured Content from Diverse Repositories and Environments, and Benefit Your Bottom Line’, on Thursday March 3rd at 1:20pm.
Microsoft is promoting the development of add-ins to boost its ecosystem of third party applications and services available in SharePoint and SharePoint Online. Add-ins form an important component of Microsoft’s plans for Office, allowing users to access other tools and applications from within Office 365, SharePoint, and SharePoint Online enhances the utility of both Microsoft’s software and that of the third parties’ contributing add-ins.
Provider-hosted SharePoint add-ins include components that are deployed and hosted outside the SharePoint farm. conceptClassifier for SharePoint, Concept Searching’s flagship product, is now also configured as a SharePoint provider-hosted add-in. The add-in is registered with the SharePoint environment and linked to the remote Concept Searching server, or servers – this enables two-way communication between SharePoint and the core Concept Searching services.
Concept Searching will show the integration capabilities of its technologies in on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments, and demonstrate how its solutions solve content challenges in all versions of SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business. Attendees are invited to visit Booth 5 to explore their unstructured content challenges with the Concept Searching team, who will be available to discuss real-life outcomes that successfully address search, records management, security, data privacy, intelligent migration, and collaboration.
Conference delegates will hear from keynote speakers, attend breakout sessions and workshops, and benefit from networking opportunities. More information can be found at the SharePoint Fest site.
