Managing unstructured content here there and everywhere
Based on previous blogs, our technologies are SharePoint 2013 ready and have been. They are also up and running in the new version of Office 365. Hey, trick question – does anyone really know the name of the ‘new’ version of Office 365? If so, please let me know as this is a critical concern of the marketing department. Back to basics here.
We can now deploy our technologies in Microsoft Office 365 as a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform and in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Platform as a Service (PaaS). We have, in fact, actually deployed our technology platform on both the Microsoft Office 365 and the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This is great flexibility for our clients as more and more companies are moving some portion of applications to the cloud. We can now offer clients a single code base to deploy our technologies.
A great new capability is the ability to deploy Concept Searching technologies in any environment and optionally simultaneously in an on-premise, cloud, or a hybrid environment. Although big SharePoint fans, and our flagship product is conceptClassifier for SharePoint, our technologies are platform independent, so the integration of on-premise and cloud solutions removes many of the obstacles facing organizations who may have heterogeneous environments.
One of our partners just deployed conceptClassifier for SharePoint on AWS. We are forbidden, as all good vendors know, to talk about it yet. But stay tuned…it will make a great story and we can get into the gory details, if there are any, as soon as the communication ban is lifted.
We just published a white paper on Managing Unstructured Content in the Cloud if you are interested.
Going to the SharePoint Conference, we would love to meet you at Booth 957!
