Concerned More About Money Than Security? Guess So.
I saw a graphic the other day that illustrated the 2017 budget for cyberattack victims, which I thought I would share.
What surprises me is that breaches across industries are continually escalating. The graphic depicts organizations that have already been the victims of a cyberattack, yet only 38 percent are expecting to increase their budget. Rather like casting their fate to the winds. And almost half are keeping their budget the same. So the same breach can happen again?
I would have thought that for cyberattack victims the monies allocated to strengthening security would have been higher. What are your thoughts? Any insights?
