conceptClassifier for SharePoint Available for Microsoft Office 365

Concept Searching’s Smart Content Framework™ Cloud Ready

Concept Searching’s award winning conceptClassifier for SharePoint is available for all Office 365 products, with general customer shipment on December 15th 2012. This first to market solution for conceptual metadata generation, auto-classification and term store management enables the Microsoft Office 365 platform to become a viable option for large scale enterprises and government agencies, and confirms Concept Searching as the strategic choice for organizations deploying SharePoint in the cloud, on-premise or in a hybrid environment.

Prior to this announcement, Office 365 clients have only ever had the ability to tag and classify content to the term store manually, which is at best inconsistent and rarely occurs at all. This has been the biggest barrier to enterprise account adoption. This has in part been due to a number of inherent technical issues that had to be overcome to deploy the solution, including real time synchronization with the term store, a key feature Concept Searching was first to market with for SharePoint 2010.

The full functionality of the conceptClassifier for SharePoint product suite is available for Office 365. Clients can now chose to deploy exclusively in the cloud, on-premise or a combination of the two, with the application building out and managing the term sets, synchronizing the term store and auto-classifying content across the environment.

In addition, clients can tag content anywhere across the enterprise, classify that content to the term store and based upon metadata drive actions on content such as migration, identification of sensitive information or the identification of documents of record, and move the content automatically to the environment of choice.
