Department of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development in Canada

Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) supports Aboriginal people and Northerners in their efforts to improve social well-being and economic prosperity, sustainable communities, and participation in Canada’s political, social and economic development. All Government agencies in Canada have to comply with GCDOCS, which is the government of Canada’s enterprise-wide content management solution, designed to ensure standardized electronic document and record management across the public service.

The AANDC used conceptTaxonomyWorkflow to clean up information on its file shares, auto-classify the content, and then migrate it to a place where is can be consumed by GCDOCS.

Concept Searching is approved by the Canadian Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) to participate in the Software Licensing Supply Arrangement (SLSA), and is on the List of Qualified Suppliers. The technologies are also available in the Microsoft ITAR cloud offering.
