U.S. Army Global Knowledge Initiative

The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) has selected the full suite of Concept Searching technologies to underpin its Global Knowledge initiative. The multi-million dollar five year agreement will eventually see Concept Searching’s technology suite fully deployed and integrated with SharePoint 2010 across both the classified and un-classified networks. In addition Concept Searching and a team of its expert partners are engaged providing education, training, support and taxonomy oversight services.

The technologies were selected because the Concept Searching platform will deliver significantly improved information transparency, the reduction of sensitive information breaches and assist with the preservation and storage of records in line with federal guidelines. According to Martin Garland, President of Concept Searching, “The Enterprise License opportunity with MEDCOM coupled with our existing enterprise license deals with the U.S. Air Force Medical Service positions Concept Searching as the only viable solution for any federal or military healthcare organization looking to realize these same quantifiable benefits.” Read the press release.
