Migrating 10 Million Documents with conceptClassifier for SharePoint

Concept Searching’s conceptClassifier for SharePoint is being deployed for a military project in Europe. The solution will include a combination of FAST and conceptClassifier for SharePoint. The migration is being accomplished through conceptClassifier for SharePoint and consists of 10 million documents across 150 SharePoint site collections. When the implementation has been completed conceptClassifier will be used in combination with FAST to improve search outcomes and will also enable the organization to deploy automatic records identification and the identification and protection of data privacy information, both key challenges for military entities.

Concept Searching’s, conceptTaxonomyWorkflow module is an add-on product that delivers workflow capabilities that enable intelligent automatic classification decisions during and after migration. These decisions enhance organizational performance and drive down costs, but more importantly enforce corporate and legal compliance guidelines. For organizations with medium to large free text document collections, this migration is no trivial matter and cannot be performed by human effort alone.
