March 2012 - Concept Searching Provides Enhanced Search Capability to the Award Winning SharePoint Global Intranet at Logica. Logica's award winning intranet is showcased in the Nielsen Norman Group Report "Intranet Design Annual 2012: Year’s 10 Best Intranets" Concept Searching provided the taxonomy, metadata management, and auto-classification for the SharePoint 2007 and 2010 based global Intranet. "Concept Searching: indexes the intranet, My Sites, and the Logica Library and provides the auto-classification service. The Logica intranet team used research, guiding principles, and planning to move the company to one global site, enabling the workforce to communicate in new and powerful ways. Creative content drew users to the new site, and blogging lets them communicate in informal ways".

August 2011 - Deloitte has selected conceptClassifier for SharePoint to underpin their global knowledge portal. Deloitte LLP and its subsidiaries have 45,000 professionals that deliver audit, financial advisory, tax and consulting services. The IP of the firm is in the use and re-use of information and the ability to collaborate across industry and geographic boundaries. Cate Evans joins Concept Searching from EMC/Documentum where she was Senior Marketing Manager for the UK and Ireland. She bring a wealth of experience gained over 18 years in the software industry. Cate has held senior management positions at four previous companies at the time they were successfully acquired by larger players.

August 2011 - Microsoft MVP joins Concept Searching to head up Professional Services in Canada. 

Wes McDonald, a Microsoft MVP and SharePoint consultant has joined the Canadian team to head up Professional Services. Wes has a long and successful background managing projects and programs for both Government and commercial clients in Ottawa and across Canada.

August 2011 - Concept Searching launches Direct operations in Canada. On Wednesday July 20th Concept Searching formally launched its Canadian operation at the Microsoft Federal offices in Ottawa. Canada Launch at the Microsoft Federal Offices. The team lead by Vice President, David Wu plans to focus initial energies on the Canadian Government and DOD leveraging the extensive qualifications Concept Searching has in this market elsewhere. March 2011 - The California Independent System Operator selects conceptClassifier for SharePoint to power its corporate website and Intranet. The California Independent System Operator is a non-profit public benefit corporation charged with operating the majority of California’s high-voltage wholesale power grid. The company is In the process of rolling out Microsoft’s SharePoint 2010 platform with the FAST search engine and has selected conceptClassifier for SharePoint to manage term store taxonomies, generate semantic metadata; surface that metadata for use by search and line of business applications; and perform auto-classification for both the corporate web site and Intranet.

January 2011 - Emerson Climate Technologies (ECT) has selected Concept Searching’s conceptSearch and conceptClassifier for SharePoint for deployment enterprise wide. ECT Management were instrumental in defining the Emerson Corporate ILM Standard which includes the Concept Searching’s suite of products along with Microsoft and OnBase. The deployment will include the full concept searching technology suite to deliver an enterprise wide common search platform, content tagging aligned to corporate taxonomies, and auto-classification of all content resulting in significantly improved search results at retrieval time. Additionally ECT is deploying conceptClassifier for SharePoint’s unique capability to tag content with Records Retention codes, apply automatic content type updating, declare documents of record and workflow them to the OnBase Records Management system to enable effective Records Management.

January 2011 - KapStone Kraft Paper Mill, located in Charleston SC and part of the KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation has selected conceptClassifier for SharePoint to significantly improve issues surrounding findability and search. KapStone Kraft’s end users were unable to return precise information at retrieval time, due to the lack of meaningful metadata being applied to documents, the lack of auto-classification of content, and the limitations of simple key word searching techniques.
