contentTypeUpdater
conceptClassifier for SharePoint fully supports SharePoint Content Types. An add-on feature, contentTypeUpdater augments existing compliance and records management processes through the ability to automatically change the SharePoint Content Type based on the presence of organizationally defined metadata that has been automatically tagged to documents and records contained in SharePoint. This functionality enables organizations to effectively process all information in accordance with information management, records management, and data privacy and security standards.
Organizations can configure the feature to identify any type of organizationally defined confidential or sensitive information, for example, Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or Protected Health Information (PHI). When documents contain the terms specified the Content Type can be automatically changed and the files migrated to Windows Rights Managed Services to be managed appropriately. This is also used to automatically tag and classify content based on the metadata contained within the actual document or record to assign Records Retention codes and optionally change the Content Type.
Running natively in SharePoint the automatically generated metadata can be managed from within the traditional SharePoint interface allowing authorized administrators to make changes if required.
