November 2009 - Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), recently acquired by Balfour Beatty plc, is one of the largest Architectural Engineering firms in the world. PB has selected conceptClassifier for SharePoint to provide semantic metadata generation, auto-classification and taxonomy management. The deployment will include implementation of SharePoint and FAST to initially some twelve thousand employees to support their internal Knowledge Portal. They will be using conceptClassifier for SharePoint to build out robust taxonomies, normalize vocabulary, manage those taxonomies, auto-classify and tag content with semantic metadata and make that metadata available within SharePoint for the FAST search engine.
November 2009 - Concept Searching is pleased to announce partnership with

If metadata was not added, or added from a subjective frame of reference, the item could not be found. The conceptClassifier for SharePoint solution will automatically apply metadata for both repositories and enable Microsoft search to filter on the semantic metadata to improve findability via related concepts and faceted navigation.
October 2009 - University of Washington Medical Center, one of the top rated cancer centers in the United States by U.S. News and World Report, has selected
conceptClassifier for SharePoint as a solution for their externally facing web site. Their current site provides free text search which results in too much irrelevant information with little ability to filter out the unwanted results for patients, care givers, and visitors to the site. July 2009 - Concept Searching has announced Protocol Handlers for
conceptClassifier for SharePoint. Protocol Handlers utilize standard Microsoft Search set-up processes to perform auto-classification and metadata tagging of content residing outside of SharePoint. This enables Microsoft search to utilize the metadata and present the categorized content together with SharePoint content to the end user.
Although Microsoft Enterprise Search is able to index file shares, websites, and Exchange public folders, it cannot classify the content. Easily deployed by the SharePoint Administrator the Protocol Handlers will automatically classify the content and push the resulting metadata into the Microsoft Enterprise Search index. The end user when navigating SharePoint either via faceted search or taxonomy browse will now have content presented in the same interface regardless of whether it resides inside SharePoint or is located on websites, file systems or Exchange public folders.

U.S. Army Records Management and Declassification Agency (RMDA) will be implementing Concept Searching’s classification and taxonomy technologies to automatically classify over 25 terabytes of data initially, with plans to expand the classification to include 200 terabytes of data to support both their unclassified and classified systems.
