December 2008 - Concept Searching is pleased to announce that Intetek who provide advanced data visualisation for large data sets has formed a partnership with Concept Searching. Unstructured datasets can be automatically clustered using conceptSearching, then Intetek's Visual Search enables users to explore through a flexible, dynamic visual map that quickly exposes connections, context and patterns. Jon Ellis, CEO at Intetek, commented: “We are excited about the integration with conceptSearching and have already secured business in the UK Government sector through this relationship”.

December 2008 - The U.S. Air Force Medical Service is continuing the deployment of Concept Searching to multiple Air Force bases including U.S. Air Force 711th Human Performance Wing, U.S. Air Force 59th Medical Wing (Wilford Hall Medical Center), U.S. Air Force 88th Medical Group (Wright-Patterson AFB), and the U.S. Air Force 99th Medical Group (Nellis AFB).

November 2008 - IMS Health, the world’s leading provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries has chosen Concept Searching Technologies to power a DoD portal. Concept Searching was selected due to the sophisticated technology features not available in other solutions.

September 2008 - Canada’s Labatt’s Brewing Company have purchased Concept Searching’s conceptClassifier for SharePoint suite to deliver a comprehensive solution to tag and organize data for Corporate use. Concept Searching’s compound term processing, metadata extraction and tagging, taxonomy development and automated classification functionality provides the client the ability to extract metadata from Corporate content, create a Corporate taxonomy, automatically tag data with the prescribed taxonomy and automate classification of content to that taxonomy. Labatt’s saw the benefits the conceptSearching suite brings to SharePoint 2007 and will now be upgrading to integrate both platforms.

August 2008 - DocQnet International, a leading provider of technology and integration services specializing in Life-cycle Information and Content Management today announced a partnership to offer the Concept Searching product suite as part of DocQnet’s comprehensive solutions and services offerings. June 2008 - After researching a number of enterprise and federated search technology options, the U.K. law firm Farrer & Co. chose Sysero Knowledge Search from UC Logic.

As part of its continuing investment in the latest technology, Farrer & Co is one of the first law firms to adopt Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) 2007 as its Intranet platform for collaboration within the firm, and as part of a strategy to utilise the hidden information held in their front office systems. To achieve this, Farrer & Co researched a number of enterprise and federated search options before selecting SyseroKS. As well as working within the MOSS framework, SyseroKS provides a single application to search across their Sharepoint libraries, the firm's DM System and the Interaction CRM System. It also allows fee earners to concurrently search across documents from the Practical Law Company, LexisNexis Butterworths and Westlaw.

May 2008 - LDiscovery signs contract to embed conceptSearching technology in its e-discovery and forensics solutions. LDiscovery, based in McLean Virginia, a leader in e-discovery and forensics solutions, has signed an agreement to embed Concept Searching’s automatic metadata generation search and automatic classification technologies into it’s suite of e-discovery and forensic solutions. The ability to automatically generate concepts from content is being seen as a way of enhancing e-discovery and taking it to a new level. Concept Searching is very pleased to be working with LDiscovery in this exciting market.

May 2008 - The U.S. Army Records Management and Declassification Agency (RMDA) implements conceptSearching within its Digital Asset Management platform. The U.S. Army Records Management and Declassification Agency has recently deployed a Concept Searching partner, COMPU-DATA, to implement its Digital Asset Management solution within the agency. Digital Asset Finder™ (DAF) is deploying Concept Searching’s superior search and metadata tagging technology based on compound term processing, as a core component of the solution and will be used to support researchers in discovery tasks around Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD).

March 2008 - Stonebridge Technologies signs integrator agreement with Concept Searching to deliver Metadata generation and Automatic Document Classification solutions to clients in the South Central region of the US. Stonebridge are a well respected Microsoft Gold partner with a wealth of expertise. As a ”go to” partner of Microsoft in the e-discovery space Stonebridge recognize the power and importance of being able to deliver retrieval solutions based on advanced compound term processing to their customers.

February 2008 - International law firm Bird and Bird won the International KM/Information Team of the Year Award at the Legal Technology Awards.

Over the past year, the Knowledge Management team has implemented its strategy, which has contained a number of firsts in Europe, including:
  • first bespoke know-how system, designed in house, to incorporate the innovative search tool conceptSearching;
  • first implementation of a combination of enterprise and brokered search across both internal and external know-how repositories; and
  • first to build a bespoke know-who system (experience locator) that integrates the know-how system, carpe diem and people directory.

January 2008 - A strategic relationship has been formed with Chartwell Education Group, promoting the use of Concept Searching products to Pre-K through Post Graduate education organizations and support agencies to ensure compliance with Federal Rules of Civil Procedure e-Discovery requirements (Rule 29) and reduce process cycle times associated with the Freedom of Information Act.

January 2008 - Imaging Solutions Group signs reseller contract with Concept Searching. ISG, a Microsoft Gold Partner and Hyland Software Onbase Gold partner has signed a reseller agreement with Concept Searching.
